On November 3, 2025, a delegation from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Deputy Ambassador Konstantin Zelenty, visited the Central Campus of the International University of Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held with the university’s Rector, Elena Yuryevna Savchenko, during which the parties discussed areas for developing Kyrgyz-German cooperation in education and science, as well as the possibility of implementing joint educational and research projects.
Particular attention was paid to academic mobility, student and faculty exchanges, and prospects for collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Stiftung in Central Asia.
Participants in the meeting from the German side were:
– Konstantin Blaschke, Head of the Hanns Seidel Stiftung Office for Central Asia;
– Kanybek Sydykbekov, Deputy Head of the Hanns Seidel Stiftung Office for Central Asia.
From the IUK:

– G.A. Beksultanova, Dean of the East Campus.
Overall, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen their partnership. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and open dialogue.
