Students’ Council

The Student Council of the ARPC IUK

represents students’ interests to the university and administration. It organizes various events, proposes initiatives to improve the educational process, discusses student issues, and makes proposals for solutions. The Students’ Council can also engage in social and cultural initiatives, represent students in various public bodies, and advocate for their rights.

The Students’ Council is typically governed by a statute that defines its goals, functions, structure, and powers. General responsibilities of the Students’ Council include:

  1. Representing Students’ Interests: The Students’ Council acts on behalf of the student society, advocating for its interests and needs.
  2. Organizing Events: The Students’ Council can organize various events, including cultural, educational, and athletic, to enrich students’ life.
  3. Improving the Learning Environment: The Students’ Council can make proposals for improving the educational process and provide feedback from students to the university administration.
  4. Providing Social Support: The Students’ Council can engage into social and cultural initiatives and provide support to students on various issues.
  5. Leadership Development: Students’ Council members can develop leadership skills through participation in the management and organization of various projects.

Ministries within the Students’ Council focus typically on specific areas of student life and are responsible for specific areas of activity. Here are the ministries of the ARPC IUK and their areas of responsibility:

  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs deals with various issues related to international student activities, cultural exchange, academic contacts, and external relations of the student community.
  • The Ministry of Education may address issues related to the educational process, academic support, improving the quality of education, and initiate activities to develop educational programs.
  • The Ministry of Sports organizes training, competitions, and tournaments. It also develops sports programs, sponsors sporting events, and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
  • The Ministry of Charity organizes and implements charitable events, campaigns, initiatives, and programs aimed at helping those in need.
  • The Ministry of Information and Communications may provide information support, manage the website and social media, organize media campaigns, and communicate with students.
  • The Ministry of Finance is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial resources of the student organization.
  • The Ministry of Culture organizes and coordinates various cultural events and activities on campus.

Each ministry operates under the leadership of a respective minister, who is responsible for coordinating and managing projects within their area of ​​responsibility. This allows the Students’ Council to address a wide range of students’ life and needs effectively.
