Seminar in Osh City

At the initiative of the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) and the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University in Osh, a thematic seminar was held as part of the “Paralegal Activity” curriculum.

The main goal of the event was to discuss the possibilities of incorporating courses in “paralegal activity” into the curricula of higher education institutions and to share experiences.

The seminar was officially opened by Aida Baltabaeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Philosophy, and Professor, Saltanat Karabalaeva, Vice-Rector for Academic and Administrative Work of the IUK Central Campus, who congratulated all participants and wished them success.

As part of the event, expert I. Zh. Sadykov and S. B. Karabalaeva presented their papers, sharing important insights on the future role of “paralegal activity” and its place in the education system. Saliya Taylakova, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, presented a paper on the course “Paralegal Activity.”

This event helped define the direction of paralegal training and fostered cooperation between universities.

Representatives from several higher education institutions in Osh, Manas, and Batken participated in the seminar, both in person and online via Zoom.

The organizers expressed their deep gratitude to the university staff for the warm welcome and excellent organization of the seminar.

Active participants received special certificates for their contribution to the discussions on the implementation of the “Paralegal Activity” course in the curricula of universities in Osh, Manas, and Batken.
