On October 30, 2025, a scheduled fire safety training was held at the International University of Kyrgyzstan. The event was organized by the Emergency Situations Department (ESD) for Bishkek’s Leninsky District in conjunction with the university administration.
The purpose of the training was to enhance the students, faculty, and university staff preparedness to respond to a fire, practice evacuation skills, and interact with emergency services.
The training included practical exercises on how to respond to a fire alarm, the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment, and how to evacuate the building safely. ESD staff provided a detailed explanation of emergency procedures and demonstrated the operation of firefighting equipment.
