ANKOSLink 2025

From November 4 to 6, 2025, the annual international conference ANKOSLink 2025 was held in Ankara, Turkey. This year’s conference theme was “Library 5.0 and Human-Centered Digital Transformation,” organized by the Association of University and Research Library Consortia of Turkey (ANKOS) https://ankoslink.org.tr/2025/.

Members of the Electronic Libraries Association (ELA) of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Zh.Sh. Asanova, Director of the Scientific Library of the National Educational Institution “IUK,” participated in the conference.

Over the course of three days, the following topics were discussed: Library 5.0 and Human-Centered Digital Transformation; Preservation and Permanent Access to Digital Content; Artificial Intelligence and Ethics; Using Artificial Intelligence as a Research Tool; Application of Artificial Intelligence in Academic Publishing; Transformations in Scientific Publishing; Transformational Agreements; Academic knowledge reconstructing with artificial intelligence; librarian competencies; publishing trends; equality in access to information; exchange models and professional challenges.

The ANKOSLink2025 International Conference is the most significant event in the field of publishing and librarianship in Turkey and the region, annually hosting over 500 participants from nearly 30 countries, approximately 250 institutions, and approximately 80 companies. Through its established network, the conference brings together university and public libraries with information professionals, researchers, publishers, and information and technology firms from both Turkey and abroad. Furthermore, through its exhibition and academic program, it provides a dynamic platform for exploring professional innovations and developments, discussing challenges, and presenting solutions.

During the conference, meetings were organized with representatives of the diplomatic corps of Kyrgyzstan in the Republic of Turkey, the Presidential National Library of the Republic of Turkey, the management of ANKOSLink 2025, as well as with Ali Odabash, director of the Turkic World Libraries Foundation (tdkv.org).
