Our 4th-year student from group PP2-22, Ekaterina Solodovnikova, won 1st place in the public speaking competition held as part of the annual international cultural festival “Francophonie Spring” (Printemps de la Francophonie).
“Francophonie Spring” is an annual cultural celebration dedicated to the French language and the culture of French-speaking countries. Diplomatic missions of French-speaking states and member countries of the International Organisation of La Francophonie participate in its organization, with the Embassy of France traditionally serving as the main initiator of the events.
The festival features:
- Screenings of French-language films
- Creative competitions and exhibitions
- Networking meetings and educational events
All these activities are aimed at promoting the French language and fostering intercultural dialogue.
Ekaterina demonstrated a high level of French proficiency, confident public speaking skills, and outstanding eloquence.
This victory is a true source of pride for our university and a testament to the high quality of language training at the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK). Ekaterina’s success strengthens the international reputation of our university and inspires other students to reach new academic heights!
