The Department main tasks are the following:
- new information technologies, system and related software development and implementation;
- information exchange organization;
- information security ensuring.
The Department main functions are:
- new information technologies study and their subsequent introduction into the ARPC IUK subdivisions;
- uninterrupted network and system interaction operation ensuring;
- software setup, administration and modernization into computer classes, the ARPC IUK local network;
- providing access to Internet resources;
- system, network and related software maintenance;
- consultations on system and software issues;
- information security ensuring when forming and using single information space in the ARPC IUK network;
- the site maintenance;
- technical support in organizing and conducting university events.
